Meet the Otters

Join our North American River Otters for a mid-day snack as we talk about this playful indicator species.

The Northern River Otter is a semi-aquatic land mammal, meaning they have adapted to thrive both on land and in water. Since Northern River Otters rely on both aquatic and terrestrial habitats, they are sensitive to environmental changes.

Come meet Harper, Rhys, and Fergus and watch them swim, play, and forage for snacks while we talk about the different kinds of environmental changes that affect Otter habitats and what to do if you see a River Otter in the wild
